Academic exchange in focus at this year's SUDSWEC

The yearly gathering of economics Ph.D. students from Uppsala University, Stockholm University, and Stockholm School of Economics marked a success as SUDSWEC returned to Uppsala. The event, which aims to foster academic exchange and connections among Stockholm-Uppsala economics Ph.D. students, attracted over 50 participants.
SUDSWEC, Stockholm-Uppsala Doctoral Student Workshop in Economics, is a platform where budding economists showcase their work, engage in constructive discussions, and build bonds within the academic community. This year's event, hosted on September 27, included 23 PhD presenters, representing a diverse array of research interests. The keynote address was delivered by professor Eva Mörk, shedding light on the background and process of selecting the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.
