Scrapping inheritance tax is good for all of us


The Times refers to a research study by Michael Elinder, Oscar Erixson and Daniel Waldenström

"... The latest and most definitive study to turn the conventional wisdom on its head was published last year by Mikael Elinder, Oscar Erixson and Daniel Waldenström. Having dug through years of Swedish data, they found that inheritance directly reduced the wealth gini coefficient — the most widely-followed measure of inequality — by a whopping 6 per cent, about the same as the impact of a big stock market crash ..."
